Ali Baba has Mediterranean food that's comparable in quality to other trucks on campus like Rami's. Its prices are similar to other trucks of the genre and it's location is a short walk from most of campus. The proprietor does not talk much, but is friendly and even offered me a free falafel ball while I waited for my food. -AG

I miss this place. Anyone know where Ali Baba may have gone to or if he closed up shop for good? -lunch at one
best falafel ever Fri, 16 Dec 2011

When I order my falafel sandwich the man was very polite and nice. While he was making it he even gave me a fried falafel to munch on while i wait. THIS WAS THE BEST FALAFEL I\'D EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH. He made the sandwich very quickly. The actual sandwich was delicious and succulent filled with the freshest ingredients i\'d ever seen and a lunch truck. The tomatos were incredibly red and sweet (i don\'t even like tomatos that much) fresh cilantro. and topped off with some amazing spicy sauce that is out of this world. I will be getting all my falafels from here from now on. GOODBYE HUMMUS. This lunch truck changed my life it will change yours too probably. -Ben Franklin

A great truck that isn\'t that well known. \n\nAli Baba is still open.\n\nI highly recommend the special - usually couscous & chicken or the Kebee special - which is beef and rice. Very good each time. -PennFan2002

I love the shish tuok! There is another one that he serves periodically that I'm big into, but I can't remember the name. Awesome place if you like middle eastern food :). -Ben Franklin

I just can't get enough of Ali baba's food. I can't really decide what my favorite meal is. Maybe a three-way tie between the Shish tawook (grilled chicken, tabouli and garlic sauce), the kebby platter, or the Kafta platter. Also has the best falafel in town! -Ben Franklin

I have been going to this truck since 1989. The food has always been great and once the guy gets to know you, he'll throw in freebies in your meal like the aforementioned falafel ball or a small portion of the entree of the day. I'm Chinese and I find myself eating here more often than any of the Chinese food trucks. Kebby on Wednesdays and Riz Al Djaj on Thursdays are the best. If you get the chicken kabob, you will find it most excellent but you will stink up the entire classroom with your newly acquired garlic breath. -Clarence

The daily specials taste great. Everything comes with vegetables (salad or tabbouleh). Chicken kabob with garlic sauce is pretty good. -CIS
