Comments: This place is a must go! The crepes are nice and thin and full of flavor.each crepe is unique, made with a lot of care and not just thrown in together. you can customize your crepes by adding or removing a few items as the cart guy is very friendly. special mention about the sweet crepes. you must have a little patience though as he takes time to make it! for first timers - go during a non rush hour when there is no one ahead in line.

Comments: I have been going to this truck since 1989. The food has always been great and once the guy gets to know you, he'll throw in freebies in your meal like the aforementioned falafel ball or a small portion of the entree of the day. I'm Chinese and I find myself eating here more often than any of the Chinese food trucks. Kebby on Wednesdays and Riz Al Djaj on Thursdays are the best. If you get the chicken kabob, you will find it most excellent but you will stink up the entire classroom with your newly acquired garlic breath.

Comments: Holy crow! I thought I was the only one unlucky enough to find strange things in King's Wok's food! I am a glutton for punishment and get food from King's Wok pretty regularly because it's convenient, but twice I found little rocks in the shrimp with black bean sauce. The pork egg foo young and pork chow fun are the two faves I usually get from there now.

Comments: Lyn's is popular for a reason.
-Very low prices for breakfast sandwiches. Buis is great, but these are cheaper and around the same size.
- Service is super friendly
-Service is fast, even considering the large lunchtime crowd

Review: King's Wok >> found a screw in my food

Quality: 2, Convenience: 4, Speed: 4, Friendliness: 2, Bang: 2;
Comments: This was only the second time I went to King's Wok.
The first time I had an egg foo young which was pretty tasty, just a bit too saturated with sauce, but it was still fine and that's why I decided to go back and try some other dishes.
While I was happily chewing away to my Sichuan pork and plain fried rice which both only had the taste of soy sauce, I found myself biting into something hard which first I though was a pebble. How surprised was I to find that apparently it was a screw, a rusty dirty screw....

Review: Khan Hotdog Cart >> Good chicken

Quality: 5, Convenience: 4, Speed: 3, Friendliness: 3, Bang: 4;
Comments: The Grilled Chicken is good. At some food trucks, the chicken doesn't look like real chicken - it has a weird texture, the result of using lower quality meat. Here, the chicken looks much better, and tastes better.

Review: Curry on Wheels >> Never again

Quality: 1, Convenience: 3, Speed: 2, Friendliness: 2, Bang: 2;
Comments: I went to this cart a couple of years ago and the food was really really spicy (because I ordered spicy, go figures).

I decided to go back to give it a fair shot. But this time the food just sucked. It was expensive (~$6) and just awful.

It was mostly rice with a little bit of the actual entree. The peas were uncooked and the paneer was chewy. The curry was very liquidy and bland and had no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Never again will I go here.

Review: El Rosa >> Lead Brick Burrito

Quality: 4, Convenience: 4, Speed: 5, Friendliness: 5, Bang: 3;
Comments: My buddy and I ate here and we both got chicken burritos. He didn't like the chicken in his partly b/c it had a weird taste and it was shredded. I thought it tasted fine and I like the shredded, however, there wasn't enough of it. The burrito was mostly beans, which felt like a lead brick in our bellies even hours later, which could be a good thing.

Comments: I ordered on foodtrux.com and my order was there waiting for me. Amidst a busy schedule, the convenience of being able to order tasty Mexican food and have it prepared for me at the exact time I desire is a godsend.

Review: Khan Hotdog Cart >> Count Your Change

Quality: 1, Convenience: 3, Speed: 3, Friendliness: 1, Bang: 2;
Comments: The few times I've been there, Khan has ALWAYS given incorrect change to people in front of me that pay with 20s. I've seen two people point it out to him and he gave them a dollar without a word or "sorry.." as if he had been caught and he just wanted to move on. The food is very greasy and Khan himself is uncharismatic.

Comments: I ordered the pierogies, and while they were good, they were incredibly expensive at $1 per pierogi and they were smaller than expected. Didn't try the crepes, but they too are $5, so probably not worth it.

Quality: 1, Convenience: 3, Speed: 3, Friendliness: 3, Bang: 2;
Comments: The famous Hemo's chicken sandwich is indeed Penn's most popular meat-flavored sandwich. The bulk of it is composed of some sort of unidentifiable chicken product. (Granted, I ate there a few years back.)

Quality: 5, Convenience: 4, Speed: 4, Friendliness: 4, Bang: 5;
Comments: Breakfast at Khan's is the best deal in Philadelphia. Freshly scrambled eggs, beef bacon and cheese on a long roll for $2.00! Where you going to find a deal like that? I agree with other posters that the proprietor may seem unfriendly, but he actually will crack a smile and warm up if you make an effort to connect. He sometimes even rewards friendliness with and extra slice of beef bacon on your sandwich. You may want to avoid the coffee however. Not the best, but a small price to pay for convenience. Besides your going to need an icy diet coke to cut the grease from your sandwich. Grilled chicken for lunch is tops as per the other posters. Salt, pepper, ketchup, lettuce, tomato? Be sure to know what you want before you step up or risk invoking the Wrath of Khan!!!

Review: Magic Carpet at 34th/Walnut

Quality: 5, Convenience: 4, Speed: 4, Friendliness: 5, Bang: 4;
Comments: I absolutely love going to Magic Carpet.

I used to go there often enough and got the same thing (Foo Chow - Baked Tofu over Rice and Veggies with tahini, hot sauce, sesame seeds, soy sauce) that they know exactly what I order. The variety of lemonades and root beers still astounds me.

The proprietors are really nice. One time I forgot my wallet and the lady let me get my order anyway and pay her back later.

A few warnings: big line (~15-20 people); slightly higher price (~5.50); not meant to eat while walking, but fairly easy to take to class.
