I always go to Le Ahn's on my way to the subway station on 37th street. It is fast and cheap chinese food. Everything is topped with gravy and tastes like every other normal Chinese restaurant. Never a long line. -AG

I agree that the Seafood combo is very tasty - love it with Pineapple. Additional their hot and sour soup is so yummy especially on cold day. the lady is so pleasant. And certainly the service is quick and the food cheap for the amount that you get. -NR

I went to le ahn expecting some decent chinese food...and i just received a load of crap. the food was bland chicken and rice piled on with some disgusting generic gravy. in addition to the slop i received, there was a long, distinctly black and pin straight hair in my food. it was disgusting. i went to get my money back, and the lady argued with me! just awful go to yue kee instead! -Ben Franklin

Be forewarned - their food all tastes the same. Chicken w/ Broccoli? 1 part real broccoli, 2 parts rice, 1 part synthetic all purpose meat. But the people are exceedingly friendly, and around dinner, you can get huge portions for relatively low prices. For anyone close to the lower quad gates, Le Anh can't be beat for convenience. The operating hours are great, and lines are never long. Their lo mein and spring rolls are not to be overlooked! My favorite mediocre food cart. -AJ

Are people seriously listing the quality as a 4 here? Are you living under a rock? Where are you eating that is possibly worse than here? Stop eating there, wherever it is! Most items taste almost exactly the same, which is bad. The "generic gravy" noted should be changed to "Gross sauce" and we'll be good to go. Eat here only when trying to enforce your diet, as you will not want to finish your plate. -Reality Check

There is only one dish you should ever get here, and that's the curry chicken with bones. It's probably the closest example to HK-style curry you can get from the foodtrucks. The mongolian beef isn't bad either, I admit. -KT
