Description [edit me!]

You know you've gone to KoJa too many times when you've seen enough episodes of America's Funniest Home Videos on KoJa's TV to know that they are actually repeats. One of the few places with Korean or Japanese food on campus, KoJa is also pretty slow (ordering ahead is recommended), but only due to a slow cooking process. Kim Bob Fridays are so popular we actually haven't been able to get one (ordering ahead is recommended), although saving lunchtime until 3pm to get the $4 special is always worth it. The double-edged sword is that their spicy foods make you feel more full and more likely to eat slowly or get hungry later. -MY

Long wait, Good food Sat, 08 Mar 2008

After waiting 20 minutes for food on a cold February day, almost anything would taste good. While the price is unbeatable for the quantity, the overall experience is not something I would choose to repeat. -AG

Good food if you want something very spicy. The wait is a little long, but you can usually watch America's Funniest Home Videos while you are waiting. -Abhi

Good Korean food for chea Wed, 17 Mar 2010

There's some very good Korean food at this truck. The spicy noodle platters are my favorite. I think this truck deserves special mention for making some of the best vegetarian food on campus. The japchae bap (noodles and vegetables with rice) or tofu noodle platter are massive portions of spicy goodness. My only complaints are that the kimchi is radish kimchi and it's very mild for Americans. Also, the rice platters use a lot of cabbage for filler, so you end up with not so much meat. The Friday special went up to $4.50 per platter after 3pm but it's still well worth it. Oh yeah, they have Japanese food too, which is okay if you want your food a lot blander and sweeter. I don't understand the obsession with kimbap, but if pickled radish sushi is your thing, pick some up for lunch on a Friday! The owner lady is super nice. She remembered what I liked to order even after I had been away from campus for a year! Cups of tea while waiting on a super cold winter can just brighten your day. -Neuronix

One of the best on campus. $3 chicken sticks are a steal and the noodle plates can feed 3! -Ben Franklin

This is without a doubt one of the best food carts I've encountered on campus. I would also recommend KoJa above some of the pricier Korean restaurants in the area. The only real drawback is that there is a bit of wait. Please check this out, it is worthwhile. -Caucasian Male

I am Asian and have been craving good, cheap noodles while at school. KoJa's chicken noodle platter is delicious and very spicy, just the way I like it. The portions are also very generous. -Ben Franklin

While the prices are pretty high for a food truck, KoJa gives you a decently large amount of food. Granted, a lot of it is rice/vegetables, but it'll fill you up. The beef bulgogi was really doused in sauce and lacking in beef. Also, the TV was missing today! -rl

Call ahead to avoid the lines. Although their orders are a little more expensive than the other food carts, the amount and quality of food is worth it. The woman who takes your orders is really friendly. One time when my friends and I ordered during the winter, we were waiting outside in the cold for a long time. She offered us complimentary green teas to warm us up! No one else has done that. -Ben Franklin

So this truck is sort of out of the way from the main campus. Some general advice: never let the lunch truck people think you are a new customer they will rip you off. This happened to me here but otherwise I really liked the food although it was a tad expensive -Alex
